PRO TIP: AMETHYST MOLDS Can be placed on a Casting Table before pouring your solid pour countertop. Works with 1,1/2" or thicker concrete pours. Once you flip the dry concrete piece over & have pulled the Amethyst Molds out, you can carefully drill holes into lowest crevices, using a 1/16" drill bit for the purpose of adding fiber optics. I add round toothpicks into every hole that I drill. I push them out as I add each fiber optic. It's a great safety net to never miss a hole accidentally. I also use hot glue to secure the fiber from the underneath side of countertop & to plug the hole so that there are no leaks when you put clear countertop epoxy into the Amethyst VOIDS after they are colored..............CONCRETE FLOORS OR HALLWAYS, are a great canvas for the Amethyst as well. Saw cut and hammer out the areas you want to place molds. Add saw cuts leading up to each area (trenches to place fiber optics). You can also place molds on clear plastic, pull plastic up in the likeness of a bowl around mold, pour Clear Epoxy over Amethyst Mold and tape or clamp plastic at the top.
